Appreciation gathering for the 2026 Japan Student Exchange Program

Yap FM - Last Friday, July 3, 2026, students, parents, and organizers gathered for an Appreciation Gathering celebrating the successful completion of the 2026 Japan Children Exchange Program.

The event began with welcoming remarks from Master of Ceremonies Everlino Yolomai, followed by opening remarks from Acting Director John Waayan Fillmed, who acknowledged the dedication and achievements of the student participants throughout the exchange program.

The program also featured a traditional dance presentation, showcasing cultural appreciation and adding a festive atmosphere to the gathering.

One of the highlights of the event was the sharing of experiences by the children and their parents. They reflected on the valuable lessons, cultural experiences, and personal growth gained during their time in Japan. The speakers expressed their gratitude to everyone who made the exchange program a meaningful and memorable opportunity.

During the gathering, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Martin L. Ruwniyol in recognition of his support and contribution to the success of the program.

The celebration concluded with refreshments and words of appreciation from the Master of Ceremonies, thanking the students, parents, organizers, and supporters for their commitment to strengthening friendship and cultural exchange through education.
