Yap, FSM - The Yap State Department of Health Services is scheduled for an upcoming Oral Cancer Screening Clinic, provided by the Pacific Partnership program medical team in collaboration with our local health staff.
The clinic is set to take place at the Hospital this week on the following dates:
Friday, September 6, 2024: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Saturday, September 7, 2024: 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
Monday, September 9, 2024: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The clinic offers an important opportunity for early detection and prevention of oral cancer, and the cost to attend is only $2.
While waiting, patients will receive education on oral health and hygiene. Additionally, a limited number of dental hygiene products will be distributed.
All patients who complete the oral cancer screening will automatically be entered into a raffle for a chance to win cash prizes, with a total value of up to $500, generously provided by the Yap Cancer Program.
