Colonia, Yap- The Yap State Governor’s Referendum Taskforce, along with members of the 11th Yap State Legislature, has rescheduled the town hall meeting to Friday, March 29th,2024, at 11 am at the Yap State Legislature Chamber. The meeting provides a platform to share insights on the upcoming Special Election scheduled for May 31st, 2024. During the special election, the public will be asked the question “Shall the State of Yap commence a review of its political status?”. This will be the only question on the ballot for the people to answer yes or no.
The event is open to the general public, offering an opportunity to learn more about the referendum proposed by the Yap State government.
