The 11th Yap State Legislature held a Public Hearing on Governor Communication No. 11-539

Yap FM - Earlier today, March 24th, the 11th Yap State Legislature, Committee on Finance held a Public Hearing on Governor Communication: 11-539: Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Annual Budget for Yap State Operations and Programs of the Department of Health Services at 10:00 am at the Yap State Legislature Chamber.

Witnesses to the public hearing were the Director and relevant staff of the Department of Health Services, Office of Planning & Budget, Chief of Budget, Office of Administrative Services, Personnel and Procurement Divisions.

The purpose of the Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Annual Budget for Yap State Operations and Programs is to set forth a complete plan of proposed expenditures and anticipated receipts of the State Government.

This public hearing aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the financial resources required to support various state operations and programs, ensuring that the state government can effectively manage its resources and meet its obligations. The budget also includes information as the Legislature may require, allowing for a transparent and collaborative budgeting process.
