Yap, FSM –  From January to April 2024, the State of Yap jurisdiction has witnessed a total of 58 criminal cases, encompassing offenses such as DUI, assault with battery, disturbing peace, contempt of court, and others. Additionally, 8 juvenile cases have been identified, involving charges ranging from the consumption or purchase of alcoholic beverages to theft. Furthermore, there have been a total of 34 disposal cases during this period. These statistics underscore the ongoing commitment of law enforcement agencies to uphold public safety and administer justice within the community.
