Yap FM - Yap Communicable Disease Report Week 11, of 2026, covering the period from March 09, 2026, to March 15, 2026. The Communicable Disease Report offers a summary of significant syndromic trends and activities reported from 23 sentinel sites throughout the state, including laboratory-confirmed cases as well as public health updates and recommendations.

The number of syndromes reported this week is below the threshold, presenting minimal risks.
Syndrome count, and reporting Sites:
Diarrhea – A total of 4 diarrheal cases were reported, 3 from Satawal Dispensary, and 1 case from OPD Main Hospital, which tested positive for Norovirus.
Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) – ILI encounters this week have decreased to a total of 10 cases, 8 cases reported by Satawal Dispensary, 1 case reported by OPD Main Hospital and 1 case reported by Marbaa CHC.
Dengue-like illness (DLI) – This week, a total of 3 DLI cases were encountered at the OPD Main hospital, with one of them turning up positive for leptospirosis.
NOTE: Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) are still being reported this week with a total of 13 cases, 4 encountered at OPD Main Hospital, 2 encountered at Gagil CHC, 2 encountered at Marbaa CHC and 5 encountered at Maap CHC.
