Yap FM - From July 16 to August 9, 2026, the Youth Services Division of DYCA conducted the Youth Summer Sport Outreach Program at Saint Mary School. Sessions were held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., two to three times each week during the school holiday period.
The program brought together 46 participants from schools and youth groups within the target communities. It was organized to provide children and young people with structured sports coaching and enjoyable physical activities during their school break.
The Summer Sport Outreach Program aims to promote physical health, teamwork, and positive youth development by offering accessible sports instruction in a safe and supportive environment.
Throughout the program, participants took part in a variety of sports coaching sessions, team games, fitness activities, and skill-building exercises. These activities encouraged cooperation, discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles while giving young people the opportunity to stay active, build friendships, and develop confidence.
