PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: Yap U.S. Military Operation (YUMO)

The Yap U.S. Military Operation (YUMO) Office wishes to inform the general-public that the UXO Demolition Team will be conducting a small-scale controlled detonation on October 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Fnaliliy.

For the public’s safety, the Yap State Police will temporarily block road access from Fedor, Yinuf, Dalipebinaw, beginning at approximately 10:45 AM.

Traffic restrictions are expected to remain in place until approximately 11:15 AM, or until the Demolition Team provides the all-clear. The public is kindly asked to avoid the affected areas, follow police instructions, and cooperate with authorities during this activity.
