PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT:

Public Works and Transportation

The Yap State Department of Public Works and Transportation advises all motorists, pedestrians, and other road users to exercise caution when traveling along Fanbiywol Road due to a leaning concrete retaining wall that may pose a safety hazard.

Motorists are advised to reduce speed and proceed with caution when approaching and passing through the affected area. Pedestrians and other road users are warned to keep a safe distance from the retaining wall.

The public is also requested to observe and follow all warning signs, and barricades placed in the area.

This safety advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

The Department of Public Works and Transportation appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding in helping maintain safety in the area.
