U.S. Coast Guard Vessels Arrive in Yap for Refueling

Yap FM - On Monday, July 6, two U.S. Coast Guard vessels, USCG Myrtle Hazard and USCG Frederick Hatch, arrived in Yap for refueling operations.
USCG Myrtle Hazar arrived at 7:15 a.m. and departed on Tuesday, July 7, at 2:40 p.m., continuing its voyage to Guam. USCG Frederick Hatch arrived at 7:30 a.m. and also departed for Guam at approximately 3:00 p.m. yesterday on Wednesday afternoon.
The port call was part of the vessels' scheduled transit and logistical support operations in the region, highlighting continued maritime cooperation and the strategic importance of Yap as a refueling stop in the western Pacific.
