E-ink tablet that doesn’t lag when you write fast?
I’m tired of Remarkable’s ghosting and slow stylus response. Looking for something snappier for quick sketching and annotating research papers. Budget up to ~$600. Any suggestions from people who actually draw/write a lot?

I switched from Remarkable 2 to the E Ink Tab Ultra C Pro a few months ago and the difference is night and day. The 300 ppi color screen + new stylus feels almost instant, no noticeable lag even when I scribble fast. Battery still lasts 10–12 days with heavy use.
