Yap FM - A Special Weather Statement issued at 5:46PM Monday, September 22 2025. This following message came from the Yap State Disaster Coordinating Officer.

Invest 92W, a broad tropical disturbance, was location northeast of Yap roughly 10.4N 139.2E moving west.Development into a tropical cyclone is unlikely over the next 24 hours and will likely develop when it is west to northwest of Yap and moving west-northwest into the Philippine Sea.

Expect locally heavy showers, strong gusty winds and choppy seas across the region over the next few days. High surf along North and West facing reefs this week.
