Yap, FM — On June 26, 2025, the Acting Governor of Yap State issued official invitations and notices to Regional and National Dignitaries to attend the Yap State Funeral of the late Honorable Governor Charles S. Chieng, which will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Also the Acting Governor, Francis Itimai authorized administrative leave on this day for all Yap State Government employees.

His Excellency Wesley W. Simina, President of the Federated States of Micronesia
His Excellency Surangel S. Whipps, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau
The Honorable Tulensa Palik, Governor of Kosrae
The Honorable Alexander R. Narruhn, Governor of Chuuk
The Honorable Stevenson A. , Governor of Pohnpei
The Honorable Lou Leon Guerrero, Governor of Guam
The Honorable Arnold I. Palacios, Governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands
Yap State Leaders in all Branches of Yap State Government including cabinet members
A letter was sent to Alex Gilifiley Yad, Director of Youth and Civic Affairs, to notify the entire state over the Radio and notify all followers on the Yap State Website and all online platforms about the upcoming Yap State Funeral.
