Men’s and Women’s Health Weeks 2026 - Registration Time and Clinic Hours


The Department of Health Services sincerely apologizes to the general public for the incorrect information previously provided, which indicated that the clinics would begin at 8:00 AM. The clinic time schedule has now been connected and will begin at 9:00 AM each day. Client registration at the medical record starts at 8:30 am.


Once again, the Department of Health Services is pleased to remind everyone of the return of Men’s and Women’s Health Week. These events will be held from September 7th to 11th, 2026, and October 5th to 9th, 2026. These services are provided free of charge to all men and women aged 18 years and above.


What and When?

  1. Men’s Health Week: September 7th to 11th, 2026

  2. Women’s Health Week: October 5th to 9th, 2026


Daily Operating Hours:

  • Registration starts: 8:30 AM each day

  • Morning Clinic start: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Lunch Break: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

  • Afternoon Clinics start: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (or until we have registered a total 50 clients)

  • Closes at 3:00 PM to ensure all registered clients are seen for the day


Registration Process:

  • Registration begins daily at 9:00 AM at the Medical Records Room, where you will receive an encounter form and your medical chart.

  • Process to the designated waiting area and wait until your name is called for registration at the Outpatient Department (OPD) front desk. Staff will then guide you to the next station.


Available Services:

  • Blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate assessments

  • Measurement of weight, height, and Body Mass Index (BMI)

  • Blood glucose testing, HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B &C, and tuberculosis (TB)

  • Physical examinations and consultations with healthcare providers

  • Prostate screening for men

  • Breast examinations and screenings for women

  • Cancer risk assessments and follow-up testing

  • Immunizations for Influenza and Tetanus Toxoid

  • Referral services to other health programs as necessary

  • Mental health and wellbeing surveys and interviews

  • Dental examinations and appointments

  • Health education and advice


Important Reminders:

  • To ensure accurate blood glucose readings, clients are advised to fast (abstain from eating, drinking fluids, or chewing betel but) from midnight prior to their scheduled appointment.

  • Please bring a small snack and drinks if you have fasted, to ensure you have a light breakfast during and throughout the health screening.


Additional Information:

  • All Public Health clinics will be temporarily closed during these events to facilitate the Health Weeks.

  • Outpatient clinics (OPD) will continue to operate as usual.

  • Each day, a maximum of 50 clients may register in the morning and 50 in the afternoon.

  • We strongly encourage eligible men and women to take advantage of these free health screenings.
