eClinicalWorks (eCW) Electronic Health Record

What is eClinicalWorks?

Wa'ab Community Health Centers is introducing a new electronic health system called eClinicalWorks (eCW). This system helps your healthcare team take better care of you and your family by keeping all your health information in one secure place.

This change is part of our commitment to providing safe, modern, and connected healthcare for all communities across Yap.

How This Will Help You

1. Better Appointment Experience

Scheduling will be more accurate and easier for everyone. You will spend less time waiting and more time with your care team.

2. Your Health Record Follows You

No matter which Wa'ab clinic you visit, your information will be ready for your care team helping them care for you quickly and safely.

3. Faster and Smoother Visits

Less waiting and more efficient check-in and check-out, so your visits are as convenient as possible.

4. Clearer, Safer Care

Doctors and nurses can see important information right away, helping them make the best decisions for your health.

5. Access to the Patient Portal

Use your phone or computer to see your appointments, view your results, message your care team, and update your information.

6. More Support for Your Family

Our dedicated support staff will be on-site at our health centers to help you learn and use the new system.

What You Can Expect at Go-Live

During the first days of the transition, you may notice some changes when you visit our health centers:

• Friendly staff ready to help you navigate any changes

• Clear instructions for signing up for the Patient Portal

• Check-in may take a few extra minutes as staff adjust to the new system

• Continued care even if there are brief system delays

• No patient will be turned away - your care is our priority

Your New Patient Portal

As part of this transition, we are introducing the eClinicalWorks Patient Portal, giving you secure, 24/7 access to your personal health information. Through the portal, you can:

• View lab results and visit summaries

• Send secure messages to your care team

• Update your personal information

• Access educational resources

• Check upcoming appointments

Portal sign-up instructions will be provided at your next visit, and our support staff will be happy to assist you.
