ANNOUNCEMENT:The Yap State Public Service Corporation (YSPS) invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Electrician within the Planning & Engineering Division.

This role offers valuable training in troubleshooting the electrical systems of diesel generators, solar plants, and wind turbines. These duties will provide a strong pathway to develop specialized expertise and advance toward a future role as a Renewable Energy Technician.

Qualified candidates should have:

• Certification from a recognized vocational or technical training institution or relevant hands-on experience in the electrical field

• Basic computer proficiency

• Have flexibility to take on other duties not related to electrical

• Be available for after-hours and weekends
