Yap FM - Captain Sam and his crew departed the Yap Fishing Authority port on May 12th at 6:00 pm and arrived yesterday morning, May 18th, at 11:00 am with over 2,000 pounds of fresh pelagic and bottom reef fish.
Reef fish, including Bottom/reef fish, including Emperor Fish (rogrog), Black Jack (yarong), Big Eyed Trevally (yarong), and Trevally Jack (yarong), and Red Snapper ( darcha’), Grouper (sabak’uw), Squirrel Fish (yoch), and Soldier Fish (ngoen), Sweetlips Fish (bucheal), Triggerfish (nguf), and Orangefin Fish (gap)
Also Pelagic Fish, including: Yellowfin Tuna, Rainbow Runner Fish (fofow), and Kawa Kawa Fish (yasul)
Yap Fishing Authority invites the public to stop by the Yap Fishing Authority to pick up some of the freshest fish on the island.
