Yap, FM – Revised Article from yesterday's post regarding attendees; On May 20, 2025, the College of Micronesia–FSM Yap Campus and the FSM Fisheries and Maritime Institute held their joint commencement ceremony at the Matson Yap Sports Complex to recognize the Graduating Class of 2025.

The event was attended by the Vice President of the Federated States of Micronesia and the Second Lady. Also present were all cabinet meetings except for the Director of Health and Services.

The ceremony began at 10:00 AM and included official remarks, presentation of diplomas, and participation from faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.

The theme of the event was “Investing in Today’s Generation for a Better Tomorrow.” The speakers addressed the importance of education, workforce development, and the continued role of graduates in national development.

The program concluded with the formal recognition of all graduates and closing acknowledgments from school officials.
