Courtesy Call held in the Governor’s Office

Yap FM - Yesterday, April 20th, the Governor’s Office held a courtesy call with the delegation from the Department of Health and Social Affairs at 11:00 am at the Governor’s Conference room.
During the courtesy call, the delegation discussed with the Acting Governor, Thomas G. Tun, the National Social Development Consultations and Workshop scheduled to take place in Yap from April 21–24, 2026. The workshop will focus on key national priorities, including family protection, gender equality, child protection, disability inclusion, youth development, and related social development matters.
The consultations will focus on advancing and aligning key policy areas, including updates and implementation progress on the National Youth Policy, Disability Policy, Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) initiatives, child protection frameworks, and related social development priorities.
In attendance at the courtesy call were Acting Governor Thomas G. Tun, the PREP Finance Officer, Judyann Dilipy, the FSM Child Protector Coordinator, Esmeralda Mudong, the FSM Gender Program Officer, Jackson Joseph, the FSM Human Rights Coordinator, Sebastian T. Tairuwepiy, and the SPC Country Focal Officer for the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Human Rights and Social Development Division, George Isom.
