Division of Youth Services and Yap Workforce Enrichment Division Hold Second Summer Workshop

Yap FM - On Friday, July 3, the Division of Youth Services, in collaboration with the Yap Workforce Enrichment Division, successfully hosted its second Summer Workshop at the YapCap Conference Room beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The workshop featured two engaging presentations aimed at promoting personal growth and environmental awareness among participating youth.

Representatives from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Kenta Otsubo and Yuka Segawa, led an interactive Personality Test session, helping participants better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and appreciate individual differences.

The second presentation was delivered by a youth group with One People, One Reef, who shared their knowledge about Yap's reefs, corals, and fish species. Through their presentation, participants highlighted the importance of protecting the marine environment and the island's natural resources.

The workshop provided an opportunity for youth to build self-awareness while learning about the importance of environmental conservation, reflecting the Division of Youth Services and Yap Workforce Enrichment Division's commitment to developing informed, responsible, and engaged young leaders.
