Division of Youth Services Launches Summer Youth Sports Outreach Program

Yap FM - The Division of Youth Services successfully kicked off its Summer Youth Sports Outreach Program on Tuesday, June 16, at the St. Mary’s School Gymnasium. The first day of activities was held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and welcomed youth participants eager to engage in sports and recreational activities.

The program featured volleyball and soccer, providing participants with opportunities to develop athletic skills, build teamwork, and enjoy healthy physical activity in a positive and supportive environment. Throughout the morning, youth actively participated in both sports, demonstrating enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and a willingness to learn.

The Summer Youth Sports Outreach Program is designed to promote active lifestyles, positive social interaction, and personal development among young people during the summer season. Through organized sports and recreational activities, the Division of Youth Services aims to encourage healthy habits while fostering a sense of community and engagement among participants.

Additional outreach sessions and activities are planned throughout the summer as part of the Division’s continued commitment to supporting youth development and well-being.
