FV Mathawal Yap Arrives with Fresh Catch Monday, April 28, 2025, /// DYCA PIO

Yesterday morning April 27, 2025, the fishing vessel Mathawal Yap arrived with an estimated catch of over 1,000 pounds. The catch is made up of about 60% pelagic fish such as rainbow runner, tuna dog tooth, wahoo and yellow fin and 40% reef and bottom fish are blue line snapper (Gadaw), red snapper (Gadaw), ham bag snapper (Gadaw), black jack (Ngol), orange fin snapper (gadgad), and many others.

The gate was closed during the offloading process. Once everything was done,  the services continued as normal.
