Governor Charles S. Chieng Nominates Representatives for PROPER PROJECT Workshop December 27, 2024, /// DYCA PIO

In a letter dated December 26, 2024, Yap State Governor, The Honorable Charles S. Chieng, responding to Ms. Helgenberger, Acting Executive Director of The National Oceanic Resource Management Authority (NORMA), requesting nominations to represent Yap State at the PROPER PROJECT Inception Workshop, scheduled for January 20-22, 2025, in Pohnpei State.

Governor Chieng has nominated the following individuals to attend the workshop:

Mr. Bernard Gorong, Director of the Yap State Department of Resources and Development

Mr. Anthony Yalon, Chief of Yap State Marine Resources Management Division

Mr. Kevin Waayan, General Manager of Yap Fishing Authority

Mr. Jordan Mautaman Acting Executive Director of Yap State Environment Protection Agency.

These nominees will represent Yap State at this important Workshop, contributing to the workshop’s goals and initiatives.
