Yap, FM - The Guam Territorial Water Authority (GTWA) conducted its routine quarterly water sampling last week, part of an ongoing effort to safeguard the island's drinking water supply. These tests are critical in detecting any potential bacterial contamination, ensuring the water remains clean, safe, and compliant with health standards for public consumption.
In GTWA's efforts, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) continues to enforce environmental laws. The agency is monitoring and investigating any illegal earthmoving activities or other operations that may violate environmental regulations under Title 18.
These regulations are in place to protect Guam’s natural resources and preserve the island’s environmental integrity for future generations.
