Handover Ceremony of the R-11 Refueler held at the Yap Seaport

Yap FM - Last week, on Tuesday, April 28th, a Handover Ceremony of the R-11 Refueler was held at the Yap Seaport at 3:30 pm.

The truck improves Yap International Airport’s refueling capabilities and boosts safety and efficiency. Along with the fuel truck, the United States was pleased to provide Yap with various equipment, including floodlights, sustainment packs, cargo pallets, a weighing system, and various other chains and devices.

In attendance were the United States Ambassador to the Federated States of Micronesia, Her Excellency Jennifer L. Johnson, along with her staff, Governor Francis Itimai, Attorney General Viliame Lagonilakeba, Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works and Transportation Robert Fathal, Airport Manager, Venatus E. Choay, and representatives from the National Department of Finance and Defense.
