Hapilmohol 2 and Micronesian Navigator Provide Outer Island Transportation Services

Yap FM - Over the last weekend, the vessel Hapilmohol 2 departed Yap State for a scheduled government field trip to the Outer Islands. The voyage is part of the government's regular transportation service, which supports the return of students to their respective home islands at the conclusion of the school year and accommodates private passengers traveling between islands.


Hapilmohol 2 departed Yap carrying numerous passengers bound for Ulithi, Fais, Woleai, Eauripik, Ifalik, Faraulep, Elato, Lamotrek, and Satawal, before returning to Yap. The vessel is scheduled to return to Yap on July 11 at 7:00 a.m.


In support of these transportation efforts, the National Government vessel Micronesian Navigator arrived in Yap on Sunday, June 21. The vessel is scheduled to depart Yap on June 23 at 5:00 p.m., providing service to Woleai, Faraulep, Elato, Lamotrek, and Satawal, before returning to Yap.


These voyages continue to provide essential transportation services for residents of the Outer Islands, facilitating travel, access to government services, and the movement of students and families
