Mount Sophia Oil Tanker arrives in Yap

Yap FM - Earlier today, the oil tanker Mount Sophia 114 arrived in Yap from Guam at 7:00 am and will be departing tomorrow, January 9th, at 7:00 am heading to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

During its visit, the oil tanker offloaded about 4,000 gallons of unleaded gas and 6,000 gallons of diesel. In total, the oil tanker offloaded 10,000 gallons of fuel intended to supply local supply chains and commercial activity.

These maritime operations play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of fuel for the daily needs and infrastructure development in Yap.
