Oversight Hearing on Hapilmohol 2 Operations Rescheduled for Next Week

Yap, FSM — The Committee on Resources, Education, and Development (RED) of the Eleventh Legislature of the State of Yap has rescheduled the Oversight Hearing to next week Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Legislative Chamber. The hearing will focus on the operations of the MV Hapilmohol 2 (H2), Yap’s primary inter-island vessel.
Key witnesses expected to attend include T.H. Lt. Governor Francis Itimai, Director of the Department of Public Works & Transportation Giltug, the Sea Transportation Operations Officer, Captain and Chief Engineer of H2, the Head of Security of Seaport, the H2 Purser, and the Super Cargo from the Sea Transportation office.
