Pacific Mission Aviation Connects Island Communities Throughout August

Yap FM - Pacific Mission Aviation continued its vital air service across the region in August 2026, completing flights that connected remote island communities with Yap, Palau, Guam, Chuuk, and neighboring islands.
Throughout the month, PMA operated 34 flights and multi-stop trips, serving destinations including Ulithi, Fais, Woleai, Palau, Guam, and Chuuk. The flights accommodated more than 395 passengers, providing essential transportation for healthcare, education, government services, family connections, and other important needs.
Among the month’s operations were multiple flights to Ulithi and Fais, same-day and overnight trips between Yap and Palau, as well as flights connecting Guam, Palau, and Yap. PMA also completed a trip to Chuuk with an overnight stay before returning to Yap.
These flights highlight the important role reliable air transportation plays in keeping remote island communities connected.
