Yap Visitors Bureau held its monthly Island market at the Yap Living History Museum

Tuesday, September 01, 2026/// DYCA PIO

Yap FM - The Yap Visitors Bureau hosted its monthly Island Market this past Friday at the Yap Living History Museum from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., bringing together two local vendors.

The vendors offered a variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables, traditional delicacies, homemade products, and handicrafts. The event provided community members and visitors with an opportunity to purchase fresh, locally produced goods while supporting Yap’s farmers and small businesses.

This event is hosted at the end of the month, giving our local farmers and businesses an opportunity to sell their products.

Sounds like such a wonderful way to support local farmers and small businesses! Fresh produce, traditional delicacies, and unique handicrafts all in one spot at the Living History Museum. Good to know it happens at the end of every month—definitely checking it out next time! For anyone needing the details, contact the Yap Visitors Bureau at 350-5005. Illinois Tollway I-PASS
