Yap, FM- The Project Management Office (PMO) is making significant progress on the construction of a new water treatment facility located in Gitam, Rull, Yap. This initiative, which began on February 12, 2024, aims to provide residents with an improved standard of water quality that exceeds current levels.

The modern treatment plant will feature a packaged water treatment system, upgraded power supply, and advanced pumping equipment. In addition to the core infrastructure, the project includes essential civil works such as access roads and drainage systems around the facility to ensure ease of maintenance and operational efficiency.

As of now, the project is approximately 85% complete and is on track for practical completion by the end of October 2025.
