Colonia, Yap — Next week Monday, June 24th, 2024, the Committee on Resources, Education & Development(RED) of the 11th Legislature of the State of Yap is scheduled for a public hearing at 10 am at the Legislature Chamber. The public hearing pertains to Gov. Comm. 11-197, on the nomination of Mr. Benedict Rikin for the new directorship for the Department of Resources & Development. Attendees will include Honorable Governor Charles Chieng, Acting Attorney General Quintina Letawerpiy, and representatives from the Council of Pilung and Council of Tamol. According to Governor Chieng, Mr. Rikin brings with him extensive professional work experiences and dedication to the improvement of the State Yap. More details to follow on the hearing.
