Public Hearings Concerning Gov. Comm. No-11-340; Council of Pilung and Council of Tamol Tuesday, July 08, 2025, /// DYCA PIO

Yap, FM - The Legislature held a public hearing earlier today, July 8, 2025, to review the

recommended Fiscal Year 2026 budgets for the Council of Pilung and the Council of Tamol.


  •  The Council of Pilung presented its budget at 10:00 a.m.

  •  The Council of Tamol presented theirs at 11:00 a.m.


Both meetings took  place at the Legislature Chamber.


Invited to speak at both sessions are:


  • The Chairman of each council and their staff

  •  The Chief of Personnel

  •  The Chief of Budget

  • (GHW)


Presentees were:


  • Chairman of Finance, Pius Talimesei

  • Chairwoman, Annemary Laamar

  • Legal Council, Genevieve Mreg

  • Budget Officer, Noimilynn Pigao

  • Government Health and Welfare, Chairman Victor Bamog

  • Vice Chairman, Gabriel Ramoloilug

  • Floor leader, Terence Fong

  • Council of pilung members, Brain Ramngen and Chief James Limar

  • Council of Tamol member, Julius



The public was welcome to attend. These meetings are part of the Legislature’s ongoing work to review and approve/disapprove the government budget for the next fiscal year.
