Tuesday, June 30, 2026 /// DYCA PIO

Yap FM - As a way of honoring their culture while living away from home, the Remetaw Community in Guam gathered recently graduated Remetaw students to celebrate their success and achievements as one community at the Peleliu Abai on Lada Avenue in Dededo this past Saturday, June 27.

During the ceremony, the graduates proudly wore their vibrant traditional attire and marched together, symbolizing not only their unity as a community but also their strong cultural heritage and enduring ties to their homeland.

The Remetaw Community also welcomed several distinguished guests to join the celebration and recognize the graduates' accomplishments. Among the guest speakers were Guam Consulate Officer Johnny Silbanez, community leaders, and Senator Tina Muña Barnes, who shared messages of encouragement, pride, and support for the graduates as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys.
