About 245 miles southeast of Alamagan
About 255 miles east-northeast of Rota
About 300 miles east-northeast of Guam
Location.... 15.5N and 148.8E
Tropical Depression 24W moving north-northwest at 2 MPH. Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 MPH. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the north-northwest with a dramatic increase in forward speed through Thursday.
The monsoon continues to surge across Yap State with a belt of winds of 25 mph to 30 mph through the outer Islands, gusting up to 35 mph. These conditions will maintain hazardous seas for Yap and the Outer Islands for the next couple of days.
