Movement: West at 270 degrees at 8 mph

Maximum sustained winds: 35 mph

It is expected to maintain this general course with a slight increase in forward speed through Thursday as it continues moving across Yap State.

Maximum sustained winds are 35 mph. 05W is forecast to intensify through tonight, possibly becoming a tropical storm late this afternoon
