Temporary Suspension of Bus Services to Tamil Municipality due to Poor Road Conditions Wednesday, January 15, 2025, ///DYCA PIO

Yap, FSM – On January 8th, the Public Transportation System (PTS) issued a notice to the public informing them that the route to Tamil Municipality, specifically the Bugol and Aff areas, is currently experiencing poor road conditions that are impassable for buses. Effective Monday, January 13, 2025, bus services have been suspended until the road condition to these areas improves, the existing road condition to the villages required the buses to run below normal speed, negatively affecting connecting routes at other locations and making it difficult for the bus schedule to meet its route connection times, therefore this temporary suspension is required.

The board and management of the public transportation system sincerely apologize for this inconvenience to the students, workers, and all riders. This suspension will be lifted as soon as road conditions improve.
