Yap FM - Yap FM - Earlier today, March 26th, the 11th Yap State Legislature, Committee on Finance held a Public Hearing on Governor Communication: 11-539: Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Annual Budget for Yap State Operations and Programs of the Department of Resources and Development at 10:00 am at the Yap State Legislature Chamber.

Witnesses to the public hearing were the. Director & Relevant Staff, R&D;Chief of Budget, OPB;

Chief of Personnel or designee, OAS, and Chief of Procurement, OAS.

The purpose of the Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Annual Budget for Yap State Operations and Programs is to set forth a complete plan of proposed expenditures and anticipated receipts of the State Government.

This public hearing aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the financial resources required to support various state operations and programs, ensuring that the state government can effectively manage its resources and meet its obligations. The budget also includes information that the Legislature may require, enabling a transparent and collaborative budgeting process.
