Yap FM - Yesterday, May 19th, the 11th Yap State Legislature held a public hearing regarding Governor Communication No. 11-539: Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Annual Budget for Yap State Operations and Programs of the Department of Youth and Civic Affairs at 10:00 am at the Yap State Legislature Chamber.
In attendance were the Speaker Nicholas Figirlaarwon, Vice Speaker Theodore (Ted) Rutun, Floor Leader Terrence Fong, Chairman Pius Talimeisei, Vice Chairman Gabriel Ramoloilug, Chief of Personnel, Elizabeth G. Phal, and relevant staff, Chief of Procurement, Patricia Ruecho, and relevant staff, a representative from the Office of Planning and Budget, and Acting Director of DYCA, John WK Fillmed, and key staff.
The purpose of the Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Annual Budget for Yap State Operations and Programs is to set forth a complete plan of proposed expenditures and anticipated receipts of the State Government.
This public hearing aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the financial resources required to support the department's operations and programs, ensuring the state government can manage its resources effectively and meet its obligations under Yap State Laws. The budget also includes information as the Legislature may require, allowing for a transparent and collaborative budgeting process.
