The Container Vessel Kota Ratu Arrived in Yap

Yap FM - Yesterday, May 6th, the container vessel Kota Raja arrived in Yap from Guam at 7:00 am and departed today, May 7th, at 7:00 am heading to Koror, Palau. During its visit, the container vessel discharged a total of 20 containers intended to supply local supply chains and commercial activity.

The shipment included 6 containers of construction materials, paper and tissue from China, 1 container of engine oil from Singapore, 3 containers of cement and rice from Vietnam, 1 container of general merchandise from the Philippines, 2 containers of tea from Taiwan, 4 containers of assorted drinks, store items, and general merchandise from Guam, and 3 containers of mixed groceries from the United States of America.

The next inbound shipment is expected to arrive on May 17th. These maritime operations play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods essential for the daily needs and infrastructure development in Yap.
