The Container Vessel Kota Ratu arrived in Yap

Yap FM - Earlier today, May 20th, the container vessel Kota Ratu arrived in Yap from Guam at 7:00 am and will depart early tomorrow morning at 7:00, bound for Koror, Palau. During its visit, the container vessel discharged a total of 21 containers intended to supply local supply chains and commercial activity.

The shipment included 4 containers of building materials, paper, store items, and clothing from China, 2 containers of construction equipment, materials, and consumables from Australia, 3 containers of household goods, foodstuff, and soft drinks from Vietnam, 4 containers of assorted groceries, cellphones, and general merchandise from the Philippines, 1 container of tea from Taiwan, and 7 containers of assorted drinks, store items and general merchandise from Guam.

The next inbound shipment is expected to arrive on May 27th. These maritime operations play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods essential for the daily needs and infrastructure development in Yap.
