The Gagil Community Elementary School held its last Final Dance Performance at the Gagil Community Elementary School field

Yap FM - This past Friday, April 10th the Gagil Community Elementary School held their last Final Dance Performance called “Tey” at the Gagil Community Elementary School field at 4:00 pm

Before the initial starting of the performance, the family members, along with community members gathered together to help the dancers dress up in their colorful local attires.

After all the dancers were all in their local attires, the family and the community members all gathered around the field to watch the dancers perform their traditional local dance.

The purpose of this final dance performance was for the dancers to perform one last dance to initially close out the dance that was first performed at the Micronesia Tradition and Culture Day at the Yap Living History Museum on March 30th.
