Yap FM - In observance of World Oceans Day 2026, the Marine Resources Management Division (MRMD) hosted a World Oceans Day Movie Night on Friday, June 12, at 6:00 p.m. at the Yap Living History Museum.

The event highlighted the importance of healthy oceans and marine conservation through a free screening of OCEAN with David Attenborough, a visually stunning documentary that explores the beauty, diversity, and vital role of the world's oceans.

The film showcased the rich marine ecosystems that sustain life on Earth while emphasizing the urgent need to protect and conserve our oceans for future generations. Community members of all ages were invited to attend and learn more about the importance of ocean stewardship and environmental responsibility.
