Yap, FM - The Office of Planning and Budget is currently working on four important projects in the outer islands to support local communities. On Asor Island, a new storage building project began on February 17, 2025, to help improve storage needs on the island. In Falalop, Woleai, work is almost done on the St. Ignatius community project, which started on January 23, 2025.The Ifalik community storage building, which began on June 10, 2024, is also close to being completed.
Lastly, a multi-purpose center, started on September 30, 2024, is expected to be finished by August 5, 2025. This center will give people a safe place for shelter and community use during typhoons.
