The Office of the Governor of the State of Yap issued a Memorandum granting Administrative Leave for Holy Thursday and Good Friday

Yap FM -  Earlier today, April 1st, at 3:30 pm,  the Office of the Governor of the State of Yap issued a Memorandum granting administrative leave for Holy Thursday and Good Friday. 

According to the Memorandum, Governor Francis Itimai stated, “ This week, we are in observance of an important period in the history of our faith. In observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday this year, all government employees are granted Administrative Leave for these two days, Thursday, April 2, 2026, and Friday, April 3, 2026. Easter represents an important spiritual period in our State. I encourage you and your family to recognize and reflect on the importance of this period. I wish you and your family a safe week and a Happy Easter in advance. “
