The last day, April 28th, also got off to a good start with 32 women screened for pre-cervical cancer with the new Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) primary test
All women who were screened received gift bags of assorted items courtesy of the Pacific Angel-FSM Medical Mission. 100 gift bags are being provided for the first 100 women screened.
This Women’s Cervical Screening provided an opportunity for women, from 21 to 65 years old, who have never had an HPV pre-cervical cancer screen, and can also lead to better health outcomes for women, including increased survival rates and reduced healthcare spending.
