Yap FM - This past Tuesday, February 24th, the World Bank sponsored a two-day training through its PRIME and SCORE Projects on empowering women through Safe and independent mobility from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Small Business Conference Room of the Yap Small Business Development Center. The training was conducted by a CHBC Consultant together with officers from the Division of Public Safety.
This training accommodated a total of 30 participants, all women aged 16 years old and above, and is aimed at helping women gain safe, confident, and independent mobility. The program is designed to support women in learning how to drive and obtain their driver’s licenses, improving both their economic opportunities and personal freedom.
