The Yap Sports Council Office held a Championship Game at the Yap Sports Complex

Yap FM - Last week, Thursday, April 30th, the Yap Sports Council Office held a Championship Game at the Yap Sports Complex at 6:30 pm.
The first match featured the women’s teams, Team Gapluw and Team K’angkara, competing for the bronze medal. Team Gapluw took an early lead by winning the first set 25–19 and followed up with another victory in the second set, 25–22. Team K’angkara fought back in the third set, securing a 25–21 win. However, Team Gapluw closed out the match strongly, winning the final set 25–14 to claim the bronze medal.
The second match featured the men’s team, Team Machbab and Team Foreigners, also competing for the bronze medal. The first set was won by Team Foreigners with a score of 25-18 points. The second set was also won by Team Foreigners with a score of 25-18 points. Team Machbab fought back and won the third set with a score of 26-24. In the end, Team Foreigners won the bronze medal match by winning the last set with a score of 25-20 points.
The third match featured the women’s teams, Team Island Roots and Team Kinetics, competing for the championship. Team Island Roots dominated the game, winning in straight sets with scores of 25–13, 25–18, and 25–12.
The last match featured the men’s team, Team All It and Team Tomil, competing for the championship. Team All It also dominated the game, winning in straight sets with scores of 29-27, 25–16, and 25–22 points.
