Yap FM - Earlier today, March 27th, the Yap Visitors Bureau held its monthly Island Market at the Yap Living History Museum at 8:00 am.
This event brought in over 3 booths, with each local vendor selling varieties of local delicacies, fruits such as Watermelon, Oranges, and lunch takeouts that included fish, chicken, and various local produce.
The local vendors were also selling local produce such as Taro, Tapioca, Coconut Oil, Green Beans, Water Spinach ( kangkong), Cucumber, Lemons, Cilantro, Green Onion, Handicrafts, and T-shirts.
This event is hosted at the end of the month, organized by the Yap Visitors Bureau, giving our local farmers and businesses an opportunity to sell their products.
