Yap FM - Yesterday, June 11th, the Yap Workforce Enrichment Division shared highlights on the successful completion of the Electrical Systems and Installation Certificate Program.
The Electrical Systems and Installation Certificate Program first started on April 13th, and
through their strong partnership with the College of Micronesia-FSM (COM-FSM) Career & Technical Education Center (CTEC) & Yap Campus, the trainees successfully mastered three core professional competencies: Core Safety & Theory; Residential Electrical Systems; and Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting.
The program culminated in a rigorous Capstone Project that required trainees to interpret installation layouts, apply proper wiring methods, use electrical tools and testing equipment, and follow electrical safety procedures throughout the installation process.
The Yap Workforce Enrichment Division extends its deepest gratitude to Dean Lourdes Roboman of the College of Micronesia-FSM: Yap Campus and Dean Phyllis Silbanuz of CTEC for providing exceptional curriculum delivery and program leadership.
